Born on the frozen tundra of Upstate New York, Sharon spent far too much time in her room. Nourished by maple syrup, Conan the Barbarian comic books, and MAD magazines, she eventually emerged with the questionable idea that drawing pictures might be a legitimate occupation.
Against considerable odds, it worked. She went on to become an award-winning illustrator and product designer, and spent many years as creative director for a commercial wallcovering brand, designing and developing products and handling everything from production to advertising, trade shows, and marketing.
Now based in Austin, Texas, she's returned to her original passions: drawing and making stuff. With the help and encouragement of a cadre of dear friends, Free Range Post is up and running amok.
